The HM-cable is an electrically heated cable designed to prevent snow and ice accumulation around the home or facility, such as driveway, walkways and stairs and so on.
In winter, when the accumulated snow on walkways, parking garage, loading ramps, stairways and other areas, it will bring problem to people's life. Electric snow melting systems can keep walkways, parking garage, loading ramps, stairways and other areas free of snow and ice to help prevent slip hazards. Electric snow melting systems provide surface snow melting and anti-icing for concrete surfaces and pavers.

Applications

The heating cable is designed and manufactured according to IEC /EN 62395; IEC /EN 60800.
The HM constant wattage heating cable system can prevent ice dams and icicles by maintaining a continuous path for melt water to drain from the roof. A typical roof and gutter de-icing system includes the heating cables, and related GFCI device provided by the terminal users according to local electrical codes.
The HM-cable can be use as following 4 applications:
* Roofs made of standard roofing materials including shingle, tar, wood, metal, and plastic;
* Gutters made of standard materials including metal, plastic, and wood;
* Down pipes made of standard materials including metal and plastic;
* Ramp and road, embedding in mastic or asphalt concrete (road asphalt).
